The Maison & Objet fair

These last days I've spent together with my good friend and trend expert Maja on the big retailer fair Maison&Objet in Paris. It was the first time for me, but surely not the last!!

The first day we were a bit shocked because it's so BIG, we realized that it would have been good to study the participant list before so you could go only to the specific stands that interests you. Because there's no chance to cover it all... But we did a good job and on our last day, we entered the fair with a good list of desired sellers for the lifestyle boutique at Körsbärsgården, and started to shop!
We try to work a lot with sustainability at Körsbärsgården, but I'm sorry to say that the list of wholesalers that has a sustainable profile was kind of slim... but we did our best to find recycled and natural/ecological materials. For example, I just love our black plates made of recycled plastic, perfect for the summer picknick. Or the handmade hemp casques...we also found adorable linen cushions and some antique pieces. What do you say about these old Chinese mercury bottles, remade as small vases?!
